Bora Bora, Tahiti
No amount of words come even close to describing the beauty of the Bora Bora Island beaches. We could mention the emerald waters embracing the flawless white sand, the hibiscus valleys, the over-water bungalows, and the towering mountains, mirrored on the waters surface. Or, you could just judge for yourself.
Providenciales Island, Turks and Caicos
TripAdvisor ranked Providenciales Island the best beach of 2011 and it’s not hard to understand why. The Providenciales covers an area of 38 miles, the majority of which is covered in white sand beaches disappearing beneath the ebb and flow of turquoise waters. The best of these beaches, and a long coral reef teeming with aquatic life, can be found on the north shore of the island in Grace Bay.
Phi Phi Islands, Thailand
Made famous by the Leonardo DiCaprio film, The Beach, the beaches of Phi Phi Islands were the perfect location for the story about a seaside utopia. The Islands are situated between Phuket and Western Andaman Sea Coast, and are idyllic clichés of pristine, white sand and crystal clear waters displaying the sea critters and coral underneath.

Pink Sands Beach, Harbour Island, Bahamas
Three miles of cherry pink sand blankets the most popular beach in the Bahamas. The aptly named Pink Sands Beach acquires its color from the tiny-shelled creatures, Foraminifera, which cover the ocean floor, cave rocks and reefs, and whose broken shells mingle with the sand. The resulting effect is particularly potent at dusk.
Negril, Jamaica
White hammocks dangling between leaning Palm trees? Check. Rugged, cliff-side coastline? Check. White sand, clear waters, coral, beautiful sea creatures and prime tanning spots? Check, check and check.
Anse Source D’argent, Seychelles
The secluded beach of Anse Source D’Argent was once believed to be the location of the Garden of Eden, the paradise of all paradises. Surrounded by the emerald waters of the Indian Ocean and granite cliffs, and covered in coconut palm trees planted on faded pink sand, that theory might just be right.
